Carol Vorderman
Carol Jean Vorderman (MBE HonFIET born on 24/12/60) is Carol Jean Vorderman (MBE HonFIET, born 24/12/60) is British media personality. She is most famous as an editor for British newspapers, nominal author of diet and educational books, and as the host of the Pride of Britain awards.
Her career began in 1982, when she was a participant on Channel 4's game show Countdown. From 1982 until Richard Whiteley's passing in 2005, she appeared on the show with Des Lynam (and Des O'Connor) until she quit in the year. Vorderman started presenting other shows for different broadcasters, like Better Homes and The Pride of Britain Awards for ITV. She was also a host on guest shows like Lorraine, The Sunday Night Project as well as Have I Got News for You. She has also written the books about detox diets.
Vorderman was an ITV presenter on Loose Women between 2011 and 2014.
